Now, I just watched a very enlightening and very very very disturbing video EVERYONE needs to watch.
It's not that I THINK everyone needs to watch this, it IS that everyone absolutely MUST watch this.
It is "Zeitgeist - Addendum."
It explains EVERYTHING that is going on RIGHT NOW with the US economy - and it was produced before all the gold-collar shit hit the fan!
There is a "first" Zeitgeist film that is also extremely informative but you may want to "get your feet wet" [I really do hate cliches] with the second film first!?

MUSIC
Clearly a huge topic. Where would one begin? Most importantly to know is that music is subjective. Songs that are loved by some are not liked by others. Why is this? It's simply because we like songs for many reasons. They appeal to us because we can relate to the lyrics, they appeal to us because we remember hearing them years back or at a time in our lives when something critical or memorable happened.
This topic needs a LOT more added to it. I'll get around to other thoughts on music as they come to me and I am able to add.
One such thought is finding all songs that have ever been in the top 100 of - say - Billboard, since perhaps 1950.
Another thought is to include music I would title "The Greatest Songs Never Heard." These would apply to songs that have clearly been heard, but not by many thus never becoming mainstream or popular amongst the masses. Such songs would have likely been widely played by fans or individuals everywhere if they had been promoted more and/or given more mass-media air time.

WHAT MEDIA IS GOOD MEDIA
I enjoy "Coast To Coast AM." It used to be "The Art Bell Show" and Art had to step down. Now George Noory is the main host.
Coast To Coast is the most listened to radio show in the world. Many guests are intelligent and worthy individuals whom bring a very different and new look at current events.
Most of what you hear on "Coast" you will not hear on any other "common" network. The likes of CNN or CTV or CBC or CBS or FOX and so on.
Some days you may tune in and the topic is not anything of interest to you. Other times you will listen and you simply do not agree with what is being offered. That's fine. There will be a majority of days when you cannot believe what you are hearing but that what you are hearing makes perfect sense.
You are not alone when you listen to - and enjoy - "Coast."
Another informative website is Above Top Secret. Here you will find thoughts and information that is unavailable anywhere else. Much may be hearsay - but a lot is extremely informative with links and references to back the stories.
Enjoy these for starters.
